Dubai Visa for Nepali UK BRP and eVisa Holders

A UK residence status does not give a Nepali passport holder visa-free entry to Dubai. You need a UAE visa before travel, even if you previously held a UK BRP and now prove your status through a UKVI eVisa.

Do Nepali UK BRP holders need a Dubai visa?

Yes. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists Nepal as “Visa Required.” Your passport nationality sets the UAE entry route; a UK BRP or eVisa is supporting proof of legal UK residence, not a UAE visa or visa waiver.

Questions asked by Nepali UK residents

Can I enter Dubai using only my UK BRP or eVisa?

No. UK residence permission does not replace the UAE visa required for a Nepali passport holder.

Can I apply if my physical BRP card has expired?

You may use current UKVI eVisa evidence if your UK immigration permission remains valid. An old BRP card alone may not be enough.

Does a UK share code guarantee UAE visa approval?

No. It only helps prove UK immigration status. UAE authorities decide each visa application.

How long should my passport be valid?

GDRFA states that the passport or travel document should have at least six months' validity for a single-entry tourist visa.

Should I buy a non-refundable ticket before approval?

It is safer to avoid non-refundable bookings until the visa is issued. You may still be asked for onward or return travel evidence.

Where can I confirm the official tourist visa conditions?

Check the GDRFA Dubai single-entry tourist visa service for current government conditions.
